Richmond Women's Resource Centre

The Richmond Women's Resource Centre is grateful to Vancity for their generous grant of $10,000 to conduct a one-year project in employment readiness called "Work Ready."

The project aims to provide work experience and Canadian cultural immersion for immigrant women.

We have found that many women who come to the Centre say they cannot find a job because they have no Canadian work experience.

This free 3 Month Intensive Work-Readiness program includes office and computer training, Business English, job search and interview skills workshops and a practicum. Women who complete the program receive a Certificate of Completion.
