FACITLIATOR: YUE ZHANG

Yue Zhang has been a Richmond resident for three years. She worked for nonprofit arts organizations in the U.S and Vancouver. In the recent year she organized Chinese art workshops and activities for school students in Vancouver.

As the new Facilitator of the Grandmother's Support Group, she will organize field trips, in-door activities and workshops to help the grandmas enjoy their life.

French Speaking Women's Group

DETAILS

  • 1st Wednesday of every month - Room 320 at the Caring Place
  • Every Wednesday 10am - 12pm at the White Spot Restaurant in Richmond Centre

All French speaking people are invited to join in.

FACITLIATOR: MARIELLE DEMOREST

Marielle has become a permanent fixture at the Richmond Women’s Resource Centre.

She has been working with the RWRC for 23 years and was one of the original founders of our organization. She also runs the French-Speaking Women’s Support Group, which operates much like the resource centre, except that it’s in French!

Filing for income tax

Filing income tax can be a daunting task, especially if you've never done it before!

During tax season (January to April) RWRC is happy to help women with the preparations required for filing Income Tax.

Ivy Women's Cultural Group

DAY: Tuesdays
TIME: 1:30pm - 4:30pm
WHERE: Room 340 at the Caring Place

Build your confidence in this social support group and learn new skills such as yoga, tai chi, traditional fashions, public speaking and community outreach.

FACILITATOR: VICKY SUN

Vicky coordinates the Ivy Women’s Group program here at the RWRC.

Because of the nature of the program, she is heavily involved with Richmond Women of Chinese origin, and is committed to working, playing and dancing with them both here at The Caring Place building and throughout the week at other Richmond locales.
