  • medical forms
  • journal writing
  • printing or handwriting

We must learn to walk before we can run!

Beginning level English writing skills include spelling and basic sentence and paragraph structure.

Learning writing is often about learning grammar.  Reading and writing English are good tools to expand your speaking skills.

The Four Steps in the Writing Process

A. Pre-writing: Think of ideas
B. Planning: Organize your ideas
C. Drafting: Write the first draft
D. Revising and Editing: Improve your writing

We hope to make the Basic English Writing program, fun and creative.  Magazine pictures, newspaper articles and handouts will encourage creativity and opportunities to practice outside the classroom.
