Mission StatementTo provide a supportive environment in which all women are encouraged and enabled to achieve their fullest potential. HistoryThe Richmond Women's Resource Centre was formed in 1976 and became a non-profit association with Charitable Tax Status in 1989. The location of the centre has varied over the years from basements, church halls, and trailers, to three different city owned houses. In 1994, along with approximately twenty other agencies, we moved into the Caring Place. What We Do
Funded ByIndividual members and donors, City of Richmond, Government of BC Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch, Government of Canada Community Access Program, VanCity, Coast Capital Savings, Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset Club, and Richmond Community Foundation. Donations and MembershipsMemberships in the Richmond Women's Resource Centre includes the following: free access to core programs, a discount on workshops, access to the Centre's library and resources, opportunities to assist in the planning and implementation of activities, programs and services. Memberships and Donations are important to enable us to continuously provide the services and programs we offer at the Centre. A tax-receipt will be issued for donations.
